Family-friendly Motswiri can sleep a maximum of 16 guests in five beautiful thatched Bush Villas and one deluxe Family Villa. The five stylishly-appointed Bush Villas are positioned around the Lodge swimming pool overlooking an active waterhole.
Each spacious Bush Villa boasts a bedroom with a double-sided gas fireplace, en-suite bathroom with opulent corner bath, toilet, and double basins, an outdoor rock shower, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and elevated wooden verandah.
The Villa suites classic Afro-chic décor, earthy textures, neutral tones, as well as the large sliding glass doors and windows work to enhance the feeling of sheer tranquility provided by this bushveld paradise.
The secluded Family Villa is set some distance from the Lodge’s main building to ensure guests can enjoy the magical scenery of this wilderness hideaway in complete privacy.
The Family Villa can accommodate up to six guests in three air-conditioned bedrooms making it ideal for families and intimate group breakaways. Each bedroom has air- conditioning and an en-suite bathroom with outdoor showers. Additional facilities include a generous sitting area leading onto a raised viewing deck with plunge pool and Boma.
The exquisitely decorated main Lodge building features a separate lounge, a dining area, plus a welcoming bar, each with a cosy fireplace where you can keep the chill at bay on winter evenings. The shade of the communal rim-flow swimming pool is the perfect spot from which to take in the never-ending parade of resident game making their way to and from the waterhole.
In keeping with its world-class hospitality and attentive service, Motswiri’s cuisine is every bit as delightful as the majestic natural surroundings. Meals are served in the Lodge dining area, al fresco under the canopy of Leadwoods or fireside in the traditional Boma on warm summer nights.
And because a trip to Madikwe is all about the unforgettable wildlife encounters, Motswiri Private Safari Lodge affords guests every chance to discover the incredible biodiversity of this magnificent Big Five Game Reserve.
Activities include sunrise and sunset game drives in open 4X4 vehicles, exceptional bird watching, and bush walks conducted by knowledgeable guides. Shorter kiddies game drives can be arranged on request for junior guests aged six years and younger who are unfortunately unable to participate in regular game drives. The Lodge also provides a babysitting service at an extra cost.
Motswiri Private Safari Lodge is available on a sole-use basis making it a superb choice of destinations for elite corporate getaways or an unforgettable bushveld breakaway with friends and family.
