Jaci's Tree Lodge | Madikwe Game Reserve

Jaci's Tree Lodge lies tucked away in the canopy of trees on the banks of the Groot Marico River which flows along the eastern border of Madikwe Game Reserve.

As its name suggests, this secluded boutique Lodge rests high above the forest floor on a structure of raised wooden stilts, interconnected walkways, and platforms designed to blend harmoniously with the spectacular riverine terrain.

This makes for fantastic birdwatching and gives guests a unique perspective on the resident wildlife that frequent the indigenous woodlands. Due to its architecture, however, Jaci’s Tree Lodge isn’t suitable for small children, but kids aged 13 years and older are welcome.

Jaci’s Tree Lodge offers guests a choice of eight twin-occupancy Treehouse Suites, custom-built from a combination of gum poles and African rosewood and exquisitely done out in Jaci’s trademark vibrant colours and decidedly Afro-centric décor, delivering a feast for the senses.

Each Treehouse Suite features a king-sized bed, cosy lounge area, large stone bath, and outdoor shower with concertina sliding glass doors that open onto a suspended viewing deck.
